Product Dynamics was contacted by an individual interested in developing his concept for a “Life scale” construction set toy. Using Solidworks our design department developed all the parts involved in the play set as well as solving the issues for positively interlocking the components and methods for assembly of the spherical ends. PD leveraged these virtual components by seamlessly importing the geometry into MasterCam to quickly generate physical prototypes. Product Dynamics use of CAD/CAM technology maximized our clients product development dollar, our short lead time from concept to physical prototype helped our client to bring his innovative product to market quickly.
