In March of 2001 Carousel 1 Inc. a producer of high end die-cast model cars contracted with Product Dynamics Ltd to design and pattern the 1966 Indy Eagle, 1967 Formula 1 Eagle and the 1967 Indy Coyote. We were privileged to be the guests of the Indianapolis 500 motor Speedways Museum, which was the location of our subject cars. In two days our team thoroughly documented the cars of interest with field sketches, an extensive set of photographs and video taping. Utilizing the collected information and historic reference material supplied by Carousel 1 our design department generated detailed orthographic drawings of all the cars and their engines. Working from the drawings and reference material our master model makers were able to swiftly create highly accurate patterns.
